Star Wars Month With Hallmark

Hallmark got in touch recently to tell us about their Star Wars range.  Given that H is a massive Star Wars fan, I was immediately interested.  I didn’t dare tell him about the parcel they were sending us until it arrived, otherwise I knew I’d be pestered with questions about when it would be coming and ‘Did it arrive today?’ on the way home from school. Now I’d had a bit of a look at Hallmark’s site when they initially got in touch, but that didn’t really prepare me for the extent of their Star Wars product range.  H has adored Hallmark’s ittybittys range of small plushies which are super cute and ever so soft.  We’ve had fun recreating scenes from some of the films.  Do you recognise this first one?  It’s from A New Hope and it’s the scene where Princess Leia records her message to Obi-Wan Kenobi for R2D2 to take to him with C3PO watching on.

I’m loving the wide range of Star Wars themed cards available and this is just a small selection of those available.  There are gift bags too and a way of making a bottle gift look like Darth Vader (so cool!).  Star Wars is such a popular franchise that I can think of so many people who I can give these cards too, so they are really handy additions to my greeting card stash.

Here’s another scene we recreated. Can you guess which one this is? It’s from The Force Awakens and it’s the scene where BB-8 follows Rey home.  The ittybittys would make great presents for any Star Wars fans: they are something a little bit different and great fun too.  The scene recreation possibilities are endless and H has enjoyed working out which scenes he can recreate with his collection.
