I love this picture of H taken while we waited for our lunch last Saturday. He’s always got his nose stuck in a book and I’d allowed him to take a book along, as I knew he’d have to amuse himself while I had my nails done. Basically we had a day out in Redditch, which is a town not a million miles away, as we got invited over there to see what the Kingfisher Shopping Centre had to offer apart from shops. It was a lot of fun: my manicure, our lunch and then Despicable Me at the cinema.
H is very glad it’s toy testing season as Christmas approaches. Sadly I think there are less toys about for his age range, but he’s enjoyed trying out these Havex Machines.
My work week has been about photography a lot of the time. I’ve been experimenting with different backgrounds and props. I’m quite pleased with this one that I took for a post I was doing with Milton.
And this one was for a Quaker Oats project. I am living off oats at the moment and I’m loving it.
I’m trying to work on my food photography too. I think I have some way to go and I also feel I need some more props. I am getting a bit bored of the same bowls and cutlery.
Not my best picture technically, but one of my favourites for the week. Amber and Bracken curled up for a nap, but poor Amber’s head is all covered over by Bracken. It was a wonder he could breathe!
