It’s been a busy week work wise. I’ve got a lot done. There’s been more photography work for a food project I was collaborating on with Goodlife.
And more photography and wine (that’s got to be good) for a project with Premier Estates Wine.
I’ve also been busy in the garden which has been sort of work related in part at least. There’s been hedge cutting to do – thankfully a once a year job – and it does make the garden look a lot smarter. There’s been blog work on the mini polytunnel. This has taken me a few weeks to construct as I’ve done it a bit at a time.
I took this picture as part of a gardening post I’m doing for my other blog. It’s a chimney pot that didn’t go back up when we had the chimney repointed. It’s a pretty one and nicely weathered, so I thought it would make for a good plant container.
While I am doing all this, what is H doing? He spends a lot of time reading and listening to music. He’s been a bookworm all his life so that isn’t really a surprise. To feed his reading habit we have been to the library a lot. Over the holiday we have been to 3 different libraries in 2 different local authorities and we always have 20+ books out at any one time. The one local authority allows 10 books at a time and this is the authority where his school is, so he is allowed to join. The authority where we live allows something like 30 items to be borrowed and we never quite manage that.
Another blogging delivery for the garden, this time a garden bench. This was up in a jiffy and I’m enjoying having some extra seating in the garden. We just need some dry, warm evenings as it’s the perfect spot for an evening drink.
