This spring I’m trying to get more organised both around the house and with our personal belongings. For instance, one thing I’ve been looking at is how we get organised when we are either traveling or taking part in activities outside the home. I’m not sure about you, but I’m finding I have a lot less plastic bags around the house than I’ve had in previous years. I’m pretty organised about taking my own bags to the supermarket and I just don’t pick them up any more. Obviously that’s mostly a good thing, but the downside is that I don’t have a ready supply of plastic bags to put shoes and boots in to keep them separate to all my stuff.
H needs to take his trainers and football boots to school for PE, but obviously we don’t want his clothes getting dirty. So I’ve now got him a personalised shoe bag from Mine4Sure to put his trainers in. The bag is washable so it won’t matter if it gets a bit dirty. It’s got a handy drawstring top, so it’s easy to open wide to shove shoes in and easy to close and keep any dirt inside.
You don’t need to stop at shoe bags though as you can personalise a bag for pretty much anything and there are 3 different sizes available as well as a range of text colours. I’ve long been a fan of the idea of having a special bag for any regular activities. That way I can put stuff back in the bag after use or washing and always have my stuff ready to go which really helps when you are short of time. Both H and I have designated swimming bags and I have one for my evening class.
For smaller items or for more valuable ones, you might want to look at a personalised pouch. I’ve got one that I use as a stationary store and others that I use to put bits and pieces in that I need for travel. It’s a great way to keep your things safe and sound, but easily accessible too. You can choose from 9 different designs and as well as adding your name, you can add a message too. These make lovely gifts too as you can personalise them with your own message.

One of the things that is the bane of modern life is keeping track of your charging cables and tech accessories. Getting personalised labels to pop on these items has been a bit of a game changer – no more arguments about whose charger is whose! They are proving really useful for when H goes on school trips and sleepovers too.
The kitchen is another room that I’ve focused my attention on too. I’ve had some stickers made up to label storage jars and the like. This is useful if you have a few empty at any one time, so you know what needs to go in which when you next go to the shops. Because you can choose your own text it’s easy to get the stickers you want and you can pick from a range of colours and fonts, so you can even match your kitchen decor.
Mine4Sure are also especially renowned for their sew on labels, so do check them out if you are looking to label school uniform or clothes for a relative in a care home, etc.
Disclosure: I was sent items from Mine4Sure for the purposes of this paid review.
