Most of us think about eating more healthily from time to time. Maybe you’ve tried going paleo for a week or toyed with the idea of being vegan. I don’t know about you, but I do find that making big sweeping changes like that doesn’t tend to work in the longer term. You quickly get fed up of not being able to have your favourite foods or it could be that the preparation work is just too much. Whatever the reason, you find yourself back where you started before too long.
I’ve found it easier to make small changes to my diet by choosing slightly different products, which can often taste as good if not better than the originals. Sometimes I add a little something to my diet like some seeds or I might try some Koi Kratom products. Often I pick out from the supermarket shelves something that is low in salt or sugar or fat. Each helpful little swap is a step towards a healthier diet. I’ve teamed up with Tesco to try to improve my diet as they have been reformulating their products to contain less sugar, salt and fat whilst making sure they still taste great for customers. In addition to other wellness choices, some individuals find that white vein kratom can be a helpful addition to their balanced lifestyle.
So how do I start the day? I’m a cereal girl. It’s the easier thing I find in the morning because I have my breakfast ready within seconds. A bowl of muesli is the usual choice with some skimmed milk. I picked out Tesco’s Everyday Muesli which doesn’t have any added salt or sugar. It’s a good way for me to start the day and it tastes delicious too.
Lunch varies a little, sometimes it’s soup, sometimes a sandwich. I’ve started substituting Tesco’s Wholemeal Pitta Bread for my usual white loaf. I stuff that full of lots of good things like Tesco Reduced Fat Red Pepper Houmous, which is really tasty.
For an evening meal during the week, we often go for something easy and quick like pasta especially if there’s an evening activity like cubs or swimming lessons. I’m liking the Tesco Chunky Veg Pasta Sauce which I teamed up with some chopped onion and left over cooked chicken to make something nutritious and satisfying.
Disclosure: This post is in association with Tesco.

You do have a very small portion of pasta (compared to me, anyway!). I love those wholemeal pittas – I use them to make pizzas. So much better for you than shop-bought ones and very easy to make!
Oh that’s not mine – it’s H’s. Mine is a good twice the size.
Some good ideas, I’m really lazy when it comes to cooking. It.often means bad choices
I do like healthy foods when at home and tend to eat healthier choices when we are out
What a great campaign – it’s so easy to make better choices!
I love their wholemeal pitta bread, it’s so tasty! You’re so right; it can be really important to play around to see what changes you can make that will stick, rather than throwing yourself into something drastic. The latter works for some people, but I think most need to focus on sustainability.
Small changes are much more sustainable, your pitta for lunch has given me an idea – I’m getting hungry for my lunch now!
That’s a great campaign. I find it so much easier to eat more health consciously in this country, we really are very spoilt when it comes to the amount of choice we have in our supermarkets! It’s been one aspect about moving back that I have been REALLY happy with! 😀
I’m the same, trying to change small things often and knowing they will have an impact in the long run. Love Pitta bread but haven’t had them in a while.
I so need a detox after our week away all inclusive, we ate ALL the wrong things and need to find some healthy alternatives now so enjoyed reading your post x
I try dieting but like you say after a few weeks its boring and I get fed up so like you I just try to eat healthier, I eat Jordan’s crunchy nut cereal which is delicious, I also choose fruit snacks instead of chocolate, and drink less tea and more weak squash xxx
