Wolkyshop is a leading Dutch shoe retailer with its UK flagship store in Brighton and a dedicated UK e-commerce site www.wolkyshop.co.uk. All Wolkyshop shoes are handpicked, designed and manufactured by the Wolky factory in Holland. The shoes are made with anatomically shaped foot beds which mould to the feet with an extra layer of memory foam. This is designed to make them really comfortable to wear.
I was sent a pair from the 05800 e-walk collection to try out. The e-walk shoes have a special Roll-a-Way system that makes walking further distances less tiring, which is great because I’ve been trying to fit more walking into my daily life. The shoes come in fourteen colours, which means there are plenty to choose from too, so finding a pair to suit your wardrobe should be easy enough. As you can see I picked out the black pair as they will go with a lot of different clothes and I thought that was the best way to make sure I really got to put them to the test.
I’ve been wearing them all over the place over the last few weeks. I do cover quite a lot of miles on foot each week: there’s the school run twice a day, I walk to 2 or 3 regular appointments/classes and I also walk to the shops where I can. So they have been getting a lot of use. The Roll-a-Way system in the lightweight sole gets your foot rolling off almost automatically. The idea being that you can cover longer distances with less effort and get less tired. Certainly I felt light on my feet wearing these shoes, but I wouldn’t normally get tired walking the distances I am walking anyway, so it’s difficult to be sure on that point. I could comfortably wear these for a longer distance though I think and they should prove comfy if you are walking more than the couple of miles I tend to do at a time.
After a few weeks of wear the shoes are still looking good and I’m happy with their performance.
