>intu, owner of shopping centres in the UK, have commissioned a survey to find out what the nation’s Christmas age is and discovered that we have our best childhood Christmas at the age of 9 and it reignites at age 31. H is very nearly at that magical age of 9 (he’s 8 at the moment), so will this Christmas be his best or will it be next year? Or maybe he’s already had it. Like all children H loves Christmas and he would love it if Christmas were every day. H no longer believes in the big man in red, so will that have a negative or positive impact on his day? I’m not sure. Certainly, this year feels like a different sort of Christmas for us.
This week I’ve been to my local intu shopping centre: Merry Hill (twice). I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised at how easy it all was. It’s wasn’t too busy and I didn’t have a problem parking. In fact, I was able to buy the things I wanted under one roof, which is always a bonus. Plus, I didn’t have to worry about being out when parcels are delivered.
