Last weekend we had a quiet weekend at home. I think H needed it as he’s had a busy half term and we all enjoyed not having too much to do. H and I did catch up on some toy testing – here we are trying out Foot Bubbles.
We also made some dessert as part of a project we were working on with Hartleys Fruit Whips.
During the week the weather broke and the rains came. That morning my nice clean kitchen floor was decorated with a pattern of muddy paw prints. I tweeted about it.
So now I have muddy pawprints right across my kitchen floor. Time to get the cats a door mat I think.

A few hours later I was surprised to get a tweet from Direct Line and then later that day they turned up at the door bearing gifts.
Yesterday I tweeted about muddy paw prints in the kitchen. Then @DirectLine_UK #directfix came to my rescue. Now we have a new cat paw cleaning station. A photo posted by Erica Price (@ericaprice6) on
Aside from that we’ve had parents evening – this first one of the year is more about making sure they’ve settled in ok than anything else. It’s been quite easy this year as this is H’s second year with this teacher, as he previously was taught by her in Year One.
