At the weekend we went into Birmingham to join in with the celebrations for Symphony Hall’s 25th anniversary. It was really interesting to have a behind the scenes tour. They had lots of events going on too and the place was buzzing.
On Sunday we went to review an afternoon tea at Browns in Birmingham. That went down very nicely as you can imagine.
Monday was a day off school for H and we had hoped to go to Drayton Manor, but the weather wasn’t kind. We did pop out for a quick walk to explore an old railway track walkway and try out a (new to us) park at the other end.
H has been playing the cello for a while, but brass instruments have been important in his dad’s family. There hasn’t been the opportunity to learn a brass instrument at school, but this week H has been getting a bit of a taster on the pBuzz – review to follow.
