I don’t know about you, but I always find Father’s Day an awkward one to buy for . It’s tricky finding something suitable to buy my dad for birthday and Christmas as it is. Cards can be a bit dull too and not every dad is into cars or sport. So what’s the answer?
This year we have been making cards and presents with Truprint. First H created cards for his dad and for his two grandads. He picked out different pictures for the front of the cards, for instance my dad’s card had a picture of H and his uncle (my dad’s son) on it, but he chose different images for his dad and other grandad. H also dictated slightly different messages to go inside the card and each card had the words ‘ A H Price production’ with a thumbnail of a favourite photo of H’s at the back. The handy thing was that we could decide whether to have the cards sent here or for an extra charge to the recipient direct. So we chose to have two here for H’s dad and my dad, but the other grandad’s card was sent to him direct as he lives further away and we aren’t planning a visit before Father’s Day. Not having to address and post the card is one less thing to do when you lead a busy life.
As a present for his dad, H and I made a photo book of our wonderful Caribbean cruise which was our main holiday last year. We have lots of lovely pictures and we added a bit of commentary of our own. Truprint have a wide range of photobook options and we decided that we’d like pictures of our holiday on the cover. Another option that we went for was lay flat pages and these make the book very easy to show around as the book lies open flat at the page you are viewing. It was quite easy to pick out our pictures and make our photobook (and our cards) and delivery was very speedy too. I ordered at the weekend and had the items arrive on Thursday. Very chuffed with our choices and we think it’s a really easy way to make a special gift.
Truprint have a special offer at the moment where you can get up to £30 off your Father’s Day Gifts with the code LOVEMYDAD. Last order date is Monday June 15th.
