This summer we have a lot planned. H will be holidaying both in the UK and abroad (Barmouth and Tenerife) and whilst he’ll be active a lot of the time, he’ll also be wanting some downtime to wind down after SATs and gear himself up for the move to secondary school. One thing that can be a bit frustrating when you are away from home is that you don’t have access to all your favourite programmes. So wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to get access to your favourite shows when you are away?
NOW TV is a great way to watch your favourite shows, good films or the latest sporting action. Over the last couple of years we’ve bought passes a number of times so that we can access the great range of shows available. I’ve watched Game of Thrones, Billions and Stan Lee’s Lucky Man, as well as getting addicted to Grey’s Anatomy. H has enjoyed shows like Teen Titans Go!, Pokemon, Supernoobs and more, all ad free. The passes are very reasonable too and you can buy for just a month at a time if you want.
NOW TV recently got in touch to tell us about their new NOW TV Smart Stick, which makes streaming TV and movies when abroad easier than ever before. They sent us a great holiday pack so we could try it out too. I think it’s a great idea because whilst H loves swimming or playing on the beach, sometimes there’s a need to just chill out in the evening after a busy day or simply recover from the journey. It’s so useful to be sure that he’s been kept entertained so I can enjoy some precious down time whilst on holiday too.
The NOW TV Stick is really simple to use and it costs as little as £14.99 to buy alone, but you can get a good deal by buying it together with a 1 or 2 month pass for your favourite type of entertainment. You just plug it into a compatible TV and connect to your WiFi. You can stream the latest TV shows and biggest blockbusters, plus amazing Kids TV and unmissable sporting action, with your NOW TV Passes. Plus, you can also access your favourite apps like iPlayer and All 4 will keep the whole family entertained. With the stick comes a remote control (quite small and slim, so good to travel with) and a set of batteries, which is a nice touch.
We’re looking forward to watching all our favourite shows while we are on holiday and I think it will make it all the more enjoyable.
