We’re proud to be Muddy Puddles bloggers and recently we were asked to try out their Puddlepac range. The Puddlepac jacket is perfect for this time of year, when you don’t need a proper coat, but a lightweight waterproof jacket can come in very handy, especially if there is a sudden shower. There are four unisex designs to choose from: a fun yellow and navy brolly design; plain navy; purple spot; and this red stripe little number that H opted for. Sizes run from 2-12 years, so they cover a good range of ages.
The Puddlepac jacket is purely a waterproof coat and is very light to wear or carry. Unlike some waterproofs though, attention to detail has gone into designing the Puddlepac. For instance, making sure all the seams are taped and sealed. This improves waterproofing and is more comfortable to wear. There’s a full length zip too and you can wash it in the machine.
The Puddlepac is the perfect jacket for travelling or days out because it folds up really small. You can stuff the whole jacket into the pocket and there’s some velcro to seal it up. It’s easy to carry around too, as there’s a secure Caribbeana clip, which you can fasten to a belt loop or a rucksack or similar (got to be useful to save losing it on a school trip and for finding easily when you need it).
H has been wearing his Puddlepac jacket to school most days for the last week or two. It’s wearing well and does the job if there is a bit of rain. It’s not to heavy to carry either, as inevitably clothes get shed on the way home and I end up having to carry it all.
