This week we went to The National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham to have a look at their Moshi Monsters event that is going on until 31 August (other dates apply at other Sea Life Centres). It’s great to have the event going on for the whole summer holidays and it’s a fun place to go whether you are a Moshi Monsters fanatic or not.
As you go into the centre you’ll be able to collect a special activity book. Whilst you go round you can look for the missing marine moshling figures that are hiding at Sea Life. H loved doing this – it’s just his sort of thing. Inside the booklet are some secret codes that allow you to unlock a virtual Lubber the Moshling and become a Buster Conservation Hero.
Another big draw for Moshi fans is the chance to swap your Moshling figures for ones that are missing from your collection. Bring along as many swaps as you have, some rarer moshlings will need to be swapped for 2 or 3 more common ones. There seemed to be plenty to choose from when we went past the Moshling Swap Station.
At the end of your tour, you’ll be able to meet up with lifesize Moshi Monsters. As you can see on the day we went, Poppet and Buster Bumblechops were on duty. The Moshi Monsters are very willing to have their photo taken with children, so be sure to bring your camera along.
