Recently, method got in touch and asked us to try out some of their range including their fab new fruity handwash. I’ve used a lot of method products in the past and I like their ethos. They aim to make products that work for both the user and the environment. I like the fact that you can use their products and it doesn’t smell like you have been using cleaning products afterwards. Some of the products are scented, but they have a fresh, natural fragrance.
The method handwash was something I hadn’t tried before. It’s called fresh currant handwash and it smells very fruity with its blackcurrant and red apple notes. It’s just one of a range of fragrances so you can have different ones in the kitchen and the bathroom. I like the sound of the waterfall fragrance or maybe sweet water. It’s a lovely effective handwash that doesn’t dry out your hands. All the ingredients used are naturally derived and biodegradable. It’s got vitamin E and aloe vera there to look after your skin too. You can buy method handwash at Boots.
We also tried out some of the other method products. I say tried out, some of them have been regular purchases for a while like their daily shower product, which I like because it helps cut down on the cleaning. It doesn’t smell harsh either, so you can give the bathroom a quick squirt even if someone else is coming in afterwards.
Their toilet cleaner was new to me though. I’ve struggled a bit with environmentally friendly toilet cleaners in the past, but this one is quite effective. I love the fact that it doesn’t have that bleachy smell, but I wish it was a bit stronger on the limescale (we live in a hard water area). It’s easy to use and I like that you don’t have to take the cap off and there is an easy to use nozzle, because that feels safer and I’m less lightly to ruin my clothes with splashes.
