We are plotting our summer holidays (we are off to Sorrento later in the year, plus we are planning a trip to Cardigan Bay in Wales), so some beach and pool wear is essential, so that we can enjoy our precious time away to the max. One of our beach essentials each year is a long-sleeved rashguard beach T. Long sleeves are great for keeping the sun off especially during the hottest part of the day. They can also help prevent skin getting irritated from the mixture of salt, sun and sand. I’m really loving the selection Melijoe have and especially this one from Souris Mini. Souris Mini are one of our favourite brands and they haven’t disappointed here with their lovely surfboard design. I’m loving the colours too, so this one’s a must.
Whether you are staying at home or flying abroad, it’s always good to fly the flag. I’m loving the slightly distressed union jack motif on these Pepe Jeans swim shorts. How good would they look by the pool? These shorts have an elasticated waist and mock drawstring detailing. There are two slant pockets at the front and a patch pocket at the back. To add to the fun these shorts come with their own matching drawstring bag.
In the evening your child probably want something a little smarter to wear so how about this lovely shorts from Petrol Clothing. I love the cotton twill, floral fabric which will help keep your boy cool on a hot evening. There’s an adjustable waist so they will be a comfortable fit too.
A shirt is perfect evening wear too. This checked cotton, percale shirt from Ikks is smart, yet casual, so ideal for a relaxed holiday dinner. You can wear the sleeves down or roll them up, so it’s a versatile piece for the holiday wardrobe.
