Over the last few weeks I’ve been trying out a number of products from the Hairburst range. Hairburst offer products are formulated to help you maintain a healthy head of hair and they also have products that work with your eyelashes and eyebrows. For a while I’ve been concerned about my hair being dry and out of condition as I love swimming, but it does take a toll. I do try to protect my hair by using specialist products and a hat, but it does still feel a bit dry. My eyebrows are a bit of a concern because I have a small section missing and that means they don’t look as good as they might do. I was thinking about looking for a more permanent solution, but I thought I’d try the Hairburst products first.
I’ve been taking the Hairburst Hair Vitamins for Women over 35 for the last month – it’s a very easy two tablets a day to take. Hairburst Hair Vitamins for Women 35+ are specifically formulated with biotin, selenium and zinc, which contribute to the maintenance of normal hair. Collagen is found in our skin, hair and nails and depletes as we age, so the increased marine collagen added to the Hairburst 35+ supplement helps to maintain healthy hair, skin and nails. Since I started taking a collagen supplement I have found that my hair has seen a benefit. It does seem to be coping with its 3 or 4 times a week chlorine bath a lot better.
At night I’ve been sleeping on a silk pillowcase from Hairburst. Silk pillowcases are a good way of avoiding bedhead. My hair was a lot smoother and tangle free in the morning after sleeping on a silk pillowcase. It also feels lovely, much nicer than cotton, on your face. You don’t get the lines across your face that you sometimes get from lying on cotton pillowcases. I was concerned it might need handwashing because I don’t do that if I can help it, but it can go in the machine at 30 degrees, so all is good.
A few weeks back I went to have my eyebrows threaded and the lady doing it remarked that I had a bit of eyebrow missing. I’d kind of half noticed it before, but it made me more aware of it and I had been considering whether I should do something about it. I’ve been using Hairburst Lash & Brow Enhancing Serum for a few weeks now and it’s really easy to use. It’s like a mascara wand and you use it on both your eyelashes and eyebrows. It is a powerful conditioner and nutrient rich growth serum made from 98% natural ingredients which has been formulated to improve the appearance of thin, fine, short or sparse lashes or brows by wakening dormant, non-activated hair roots of each eyelash and pushing them into the growth phase. There has certainly been some regrowth on my eyebrow and whilst there is a little way to go yet, I’m hopeful that there are more improvements to come.
