Pokémon GO is getting us out of the house more and more this summer. We’ve spent a lot of time walking around the local parks in the hope that someone has put a lure on or simply to do the miles to hatch a egg. Whatever you think of the game, I expect most would agree that getting out-of-doors to play is much better than being stuck at home in front of the TV or the Game Console.
I’ve managed to persuade H to go to some lovely places with me in search of the illusive Pikachu like Portmerion in Wales. We walked for miles around the woodland trails surrounding the village. So we’ve had plenty of chances to put H’s new Superfit shoes, which we were sent to review as part of being Big Days Ambassadors. This footwear is perfect for the outdoors because it’s made with GORE-TEX® SURROUND™ product technology combine fun and casual design with waterproof, highly-breathable materials. All this means that feet stay cool and dry even on warm days. If you have an active child, you’ll know how it’s all too easy for their feet to become hot and sweaty after even a short while of running around in the sun. H does tend to get irritated when his feet get hot and sweaty, so it’s been a godsend to have shoes that go a long way towards preventing this problem.
As well as being designed for being active whatever the weather, Superfit shoe designs are based on orthopaedic shoe expertise and were originally developed with paediatricians in order to optimally design them for children’s feet. Each shoe features a light sole, breathable materials and a soft flexible toe area that allows for walking and running from the heel to the toe. H certainly found them really comfortable to wear right from the start.
H has been putting a pair of Superfit Sport GTX® through their paces this summer and they look good to see him through into the Autumn and maybe beyond (as long as we don’t have a foot growth spurt!).
