One of the biggest blogging events of the year is BritMums Live. The last two years I’ve been to the event, which is held in The Brewery, London. It’s the perfect place to meet lots of people: bloggers, brands and PRs. Inspiration a plenty is available with high-profile speakers like Kirsty Allsopp last year and Emma Freud this time. There are also workshops on topics like social media, WordPress and photography, for both the novice and more experienced bloggers. For me one of the key things is the social side, as I pick up as much useful information by talking with my fellow bloggers or speaking with the brands at the event, as I do from some of the more formal sessions.
Inevitably though, there are costs though to attending a conference like this one: travel, hotel and tickets, for starters and it can be difficult to find the cash. So this year, I was seriously chuffed when Coca-Cola Great Britain approached me about sponsoring me to attend. Coca-Cola created quite a stir in the Hub last year by offering bloggers their very own Share A Coke Personalised Bottle. Naturally, I had to get one made up for H and he loved seeing his name on a coke bottle when I got back home.
This year Coca-Cola Great Britain are delighted to be returning to Britmums, and this time they’re gearing up for a summer of fitness, fun and football! For years, Coca-Cola has supported the biggest sporting events across the globe and this year is no exception as we get geared up for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. While the host country, Brazil, might be on the other side of the world, Coca-Cola will be helping the nation get active at home and even at Britmums!
Coca-Cola will be bringing a touch of football fever to their Britmums stand – so come along and show them your ‘keepie uppies’, while hearing more about energy balance and getting your hands on your very own Share a Coke personalised bottle.
What’s more, Fiona Angus, Manager of Science at Coca-Cola UK will be on the stand to answer any questions you have relating to the Coca-Cola brands, portfolio, ingredients and other initiatives within the UK. Coca-Cola will also be able to tell you more about their recent online tools that help to educate and inspire active lifestyles and energy balance.
