Football is very much part of playground life at school isn’t it? H isn’t a natural player and tends to need coaxing to play because he lacks confidence in his abilities. So for us making football fun is very much something that we want to encourage and enjoy. This is where Foot Bubbles come in. We were sent the Leo Messi FootBubbles starter kit to try out. Inside the kit you get your specially designed Messi socks (there are a few different colours available), a bubble blower, a solution tray and a bottle of bubble solution.
To be honest H did find the tricks a little difficult to do. This may well improve with practice. The only thing is that we used the entire bottle of bubble solution on our first play session. You can buy a jumbo refill bottle though to stock up. The solution is specially formulated, so standard bubble solution probably won’t work as well. The socks are washable by hand.
We enjoyed this toy and it would be fun as part of your rainy day kit or as a stocking filler or present to take to a birthday party, etc. I think it’s fun for all children and not just the football mad. It’s a good way to get them to practice their balance skills and coordination too. It’s also the sort of activity you can do on your own (useful for an only child like H), but you could also play with a friend.
