Chocolate always goes down very well in our house, especially with H who seems to crave a fix nearly every day. So there was much excitement when we were sent the ChokaBlok Christmas range to scoff (I mean test and try out) and review.
We tried out both the Cookie Crumb and the Gold Digger Dynamite Chokablok Christmas trees. Cookie Crumb is heavily decorated with littler milk chocolate stars. Inside there are dark chocolate cookie crumbs and crunchy shortcake biscuit balls wrapped up in creamy, white chocolate. On top of this there’s a big swirl of thick milk chocolate to finish off. I’m not a white chocolate fan, so it’s no surprise this flavour wasn’t for me. H has enjoyed it very much and I have to say that it looks fantastic.
The Gold Digger Dynamite Tree was more my sort of thing and H loved it too. The branches are made of milk and white chocolate branches with lots of milk chocolate caramel cups and chunks of sweet honeycomb.
They’re available exclusively from Tescos and are priced at £4 for a 150g tree.
