Last weekend H was off to his Dad’s and he wanted to take the VR Headset that we are reviewing. It’s an enthusiasm he shares with his Dad, so I wasn’t expecting the headset to come back. Time then for a quick photo shoot before he went so that I have some pictures for my blog post. I think he’s trying to be all cool here and this was his favourite shot from the session.
I spent a big chuck of the weekend in the garden. I washed the greenhouse which was a major undertaking as I had to get the big step-ladder down from the loft to do it. It hasn’t had a really good clean since we got it (probably because of the need to get the step-ladder down from the loft), although each year it’s had some attention. The windows are nice and clean now ready for the new plants. I’ve tried to do a bit in the garden most days this week and it’s looking pretty good as a result. There’s still more to do though, but the lawn has had its first cut and I have some seeds planted for my vegetable patch.
Over the last few weeks we have been doing some juicing which we will be featuring on the blog soon. I really liked this juice with its nectarine, pineapple and lemon combination.
This week I went to a restaurant opening. It was a bit further afield than usual for me as most of the restaurant openings tend to be in the city centre, but this was in Sutton Coldfield which is a few miles out of the city. I had a lovely time sampling the Asian cuisine on offer and catching up with Chris from Mummy of 3 Diaries, who had helpfully suggested that I go by train thus saving myself the joys of sitting in traffic for ages.
