Last Saturday Daddy was busy shooting zombies at a zombie apocalpse experience, so H and I went to the Wyre Forest in the morning to do the new Superworm trail there. We had a lovely walk through the forest. On the way home H likes to visit the Smyths Toys shop that we pass and this time he had some birthday money to spend. The afternoon was spent building a Lego Quinjet set that he bought. In the evening I went into Birmingham to meet up with other bloggers after Blogcamp.
It’s been a surprisingly hectic week, partly because I knew Friday was going to be out of the equation for getting jobs done because I was going up to Manchester for BlogOn, a blogging conference. Hence most of my pics have been for various projects I am working for on the blog.
Friday saw me on a train up to Manchester for BlogOn. It started off a little stressfully when my first train was late and I thought I’d missed my connection, but when I saw Tammy from Me and the Tiny 3 on the platform, I thought there was a good chance I hadn’t. Luckily the train I was connecting with was delayed too. So in the end I was in Manchester fairly early, so I went to help with the setting up of the conference. As you can imagine there’s a lot of work to be done beforehand. Just getting the goody bags into the venue and laid out took a lot of doing. In the evening we headed off to the Hard Rock Cafe to try out their new menus and to learn how to make cocktails. A great evening out with lots of friends with some lovely food and drink too.
