I’d like to learn more about photography and some day I’d like to take a course to help me improve, but for now it’s not top of the list. I take snaps of our family and dabble in landscape photography (my husband tells me I’m quite good at it, but it’s purely instinctive). Most of my people pictures are of my son and second place goes to our cat Amber. Less often in my photos are me, my husband and our other cat Bracken. I’ve taken a pic of hubby with Henry that I’ll use for my Project 366 post on Saturday. I haven’t yet managed to fit me into the frame, but I have captured beautiful Bracken for you.
She’s a lilac burmese cat whose full title is Dorevalley Bracken. Our two cats have each picked out one human each for special treatment. Amber is very much my cat. He (yes that’s right he – full name Dorevalley Amberknight) is a handsome, vocal, quietly friendly cat that loves a fuss and a lap. He’s not as bright as his ‘sister’, but he’s very good natured. Bracken is ever so slightly scary at times (a touch over affectionate) and picks out my husband’s shoulders to perch on. She is very friendly and great with kids allowing even tail pulling toddlers a chance for a stroke. A friend’s toddler is in love with her and likes nothing more than coming round to see her.

Gorgeous kitty!

She’s a beauty. Very attractive cat. We have a Siberian who’s called Tarzan (don’t ask) – such a warm, friendly puss with the biggest, softest grey fur coat ever.
Your cat is staring at me. *cowers a bit*
She’s a bit like that – she can be ever so slightly scary.
She’s beautiful!

What a gorgeous cat! I used to have two siamese/blue russian cats, sisters from the same litter, one white, one blue. We have thousands of photos of them, they were so beautiful. Your Amber reminds me of one of them, what a majestic face.

I think you’ve made his day.
Great cat – we have a rough and tumble ginger tom who is king tut round here – he has a very pleasant live and takes fuss when he feels like, we always tell the kids to watch his tail, if it starts swaying up high then run for the hills (or at least leave him alone)! You know the best way to improve your photography – get out there and get snapping – it is addictive and a great way to record the great things in your life!
She is a very beautiful cat.
