I struggled for inspiration for this week’s gallery. Not sure why I found it so hard and in the end putting up my wedding picture seemed a natural thing to do. So here we are, several years ago now, officially starting out on our family journey.
I’m not sure who took the photo, but it would have been one of the guests. It wasn’t taken by our official photographers. Incidentally, do you think it is on to be using an image for publicity for your photography firm several years after it was taken? Our former neighbours were surprised to pick up a local magazine the other year, which had our picture advertising the photographers. It was more than 5 years after our wedding and it felt rather odd to me. Although I think we had had to sign a contract that allowed the photographers to use the images, I didn’t expect them to keep on doing so for so long.

That’s a lovely photo with a very important family story! Some of my favourite wedding photos were taken by my mum, I think they are more natural than the professional ones!

Lovely photo! How funny that your ex-neighbours came across a pic years after. It must mean that the photographers still think they did a great job at your wedding!

Nice photo
yes, the photographer retains copyright usually so can use them for as long as they like but it’s polite to ask if using them years later, I’d have thought!

Ah wedding days are the start of so many great journeys aren’t they
I do a bit of photography and I would use an image for years after if I thought it was a great one, maybe that’s why your photographer uses it still. Come to think of it our wedding photographer uses one from our wedding in his advertising and that’s over 10 years old!
You should be proud that they keep using your photo, it must a a great shot x

Lovely photo and probably one of the most key Family stories in your history prior to children. It is amazing how many thing change from then on and you just can’t imagine it on that day!

A lovely photo. Doesn’t it feel like time has spun by since then?
Lovely photograph! The one your photographer is still using must be lovely too, or else they wouldn’t still be using it!

Very nice photo – you had good weather too. I’d contact the photographers and ask them to stop using your photos.
