Last week, while we were still on holiday on the Isle of Man, I had a very exciting email come through telling me that I had won a competition. The prize was a great 2 day trip to Alton Towers with Rocky (the chocolate biscuit).
It had to be taken on Monday and Tuesday this week, so we didn’t have long to wait before Henry and I headed off along with some friends.
On the Tuesday of our stay we got to meet Peter Andre, courtesy of Rocky. Peter was lovely and friendly. He was a big hit with Henry as he arranged for him to have some chocolate and introduced him to his children.
One of the things Peter was doing with Rocky was climbing their chocolate mountain, Mount Rocky. It’s a 32 foot high climbing wall with chocolate literally running down one side of it. Peter is scared of heights so climbing this high was a difficult thing for him to do.
The climbing wall was available for other people to take the challenge too and guess who had a go at it? Here’s a picture of me nearing the top and another of me on my way down. I really enjoyed it, especially coming down as I’d always fancied having a go at abseiling. Would I do it again? Absolutely.
