Yesterday I went to an event at Maped Helix and we had a lot of fun trying out the lovely stationery products. Here’s Little Mr from Life According to Mrs Shilts with Clearly Bex. Here they are enjoying playing with the Maped Jungle Innovation set. We have one at home and H loves it. One of the pens had its lid off overnight and still seemed good as new, so we have been impressed with it all round. But can you caption the picture?
This is one of my favourite pictures of a younger H. We took this photo on a trip we made to Dyffryn Ardudwy in North Wales when he was three. My husband was very busy with work that year (what’s new?) and we ended up going away for some seaside fun before the summer disappeared without him. We had some lovely days out, but it wasn’t without its downsides too as H was potty training at the time. There was the child poo episode on the beach and the horrific dog poo incident at the farm that still makes me feel a bit queasy, both of which happened on that trip which made it one to remember.
One day though H wanted to go out for the day by train, despite the fact that we had the car with us, so we drove down to the train station (it was too far to walk from the farm we were staying on). On the way home we drove past this playground and decided to seize the moment to go for an explore. It had the coolest climbing frame (if you are 3 years old that is) with bears on. Can you caption it though?
We often visit the Birmingham Botanical Gardens during the school holidays. We haven’t been since about October, so it was time that we got a visit in to make the most of our annual pass. We always have a lot of fun there and it’s nice to wander around looking at the lovely gardens. This time I took my new camera along for the first time and got to work taking some shots of H. In the corner of one of the garden areas there’s this chain feature. Children do seem to be drawn to it and if you look up inside it there’s an opening to the sky. H got inside the chain circle and I got snapping, but can you caption it?
