Anyone who regularly follows the blog or my Instagram feed will have seen many a picture of our cats sleeping together. They sleep an awful lot it seems, but cats do and they are getting a bit old these days. This last week or so though they have spent a lot of time outside and have been a lot more active. There has been some kittenish behaviour going on charging up and down the garden path, up and down the stairs and into wet paint leaving paw prints behind on the gloss work. One evening I was out in the garden with the cats and I snapped this shot. I thought you might like to caption it. Any ideas?
This week we went to Drayton Manor for the launch of the expansion to Thomas Land. There were new rides and new features, so it was fun to get a sneak preview ahead of everyone else. H had a wonderful time and he quite liked getting to know the engines again as it’s been a while since he read the books. Here he is with James and I’m not sure what that pose is all about, but I thought you might be able to caption it.
Last weekend we went to Warwick Castle to see their new Time Tower attraction. Whilst we were there we also went to see the falconry display which is pretty spectacular. I took this shot of some rather surprised passers by as the vulture swooped down from the castle walls. Can you caption the picture?
This week I had a parcel arrive that contained a selection of cleaning things and these rather fancy red rubber gloves. Now I wasn’t expecting H to show a lot of interest in the contents of the parcel, afterall cleaning isn’t something that comes naturally to 7 year olds is it? These gloves though, they were irresistible apparently. There was much leaping around the house with the gloves on pretending to be a monster, a ninja, a pokemon, who knows what. They even made their way up to his bedroom. I have since sneaked them back into my cleaning box, but I think they’ll be whisked away again if he spots them.
He even wore them to do his regular evening reading. Can you caption this shot, which I nabbed when he was doing just that?
