The other day I was looking for pictures to share on Instagram and I came across this picture that I took at Warwick Castle a few weeks back. I don’t think I’d realised its comic potential at the time, but it really does look like the peacock is heading towards the toilets. Could that really be the case? What do you think the story was? Was the peacock caught short? Can you caption this shot?
H is mad for crazy golf. He can’t go past a course without having a go. Sometimes he has to have more than one go. I’ve taken him along to our local golf course (normal golf) for some free lessons during the holidays, but he hasn’t been that keen. I’m not sure why because he is so mad about crazy golf. He also loves to set up his own golf courses and he has a set at his grandparents that allows him to do just that. Then we have to take it in turns to play the course. Often it’s near on impossible to do. Anyway, I’m not sure exactly what he is doing in this picture that I took at Trecco Bay, but perhaps you can caption it for me.
One of our favourite board games is Operation. So we were thrilled to see this slightly disturbing medieval version of the game at Warwick Castle the other week as part of their Horrible Histories event. The poor medieval patient screams in pain and agony as the (usually incompetent) surgeon attempts to remove the offending body part. What’s not to like eh? I did think you might be able to come up with a caption for this one, so can you caption my historical doctor and his patient?
Horrible Histories have a great stage show on this summer at Warwick Castle called Wicked Warwick. It tells the history of the castle and its owners in typical Horrible Histories style – not to be missed.
Last weekend we went to Food Gusto, a food festival, in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. We wandered around checking out the many lovely food stalls and got tempted by quite a few culinary goodies. There were a few stalls there that were more community based than food orientated and we came across this scene at one of these stalls. H can never resist trying one of these and I can never resist taking a snap. So can you caption H as the dog in this picture?
