Setting Up The toys were straight forward and self explanatory to set up. However, they did take a while to get out of the packaging as they were screwed into the box.
In Play No sooner were they out of the packaging and they were whisked away. H has quite a lot of Bob the Builder vehicles and figures already so the new playsets were used alongside these and added a new dimension to his old toys, as well as providing new scenarios for play. We got the toys out for the first time when H had his friend (also 5 years old) round to play. They were occupied with them for ages and H has returned many times to these toys over the last few days.
The Builder’s Yard toy includes a Bob the Builder figure and Bob can get busy collecting concrete in the wheelbarrow. The Supplier’s Yard comes with a Charlie figure and children can load up pallets and pile up building materials. I loved the way Bob can dig up the pavement to expose pipework beneath.
What stopped play? The packaging was a bit of a pain to get off, but that only happens once. I think a child would get more out of these sets if he or she had some Bob toys already to team up with the play sets.
Overall A popular and fun addition to the Bob the Builder toy range.

My sons would love this, they are mad about Fireman Sam, but how annoying is it when they screw the parts into the box, arrgghh!
Packaging is always a nightmare on toys like this. Thanks for the review.
Very cool review
