A little while ago I was selected as a Morphy Richards Innovator. I’m thrilled to be reviewing my first test items now. We were allowed to choose a toaster and a kettle from the Colour Boutique range. The idea is that you can choose the appliances to match your kitchen decor. There’s no need to just stick to the neutrals either as there’s a wide range of shades from zingy to pastel, metallic to mellow.
After much deliberation (Did I want my appliances to match my kitchen as it is now or how I hope it will one day look?) I decided to choose the blue sparkle colour, as it matches the existing tiles in my kitchen. It’s a kind of midnight blue with just a hint of sparkliness to lift the colour. There are 16 different shades to choose from so there’s sure to be one that suits your decor.
Kettle
I love the shape of the kettle, there’s a retro feel to it, as well as its colour. It boils quickly and is generally easy to use. We’ve used it as a family for a few weeks now and it’s received good feedback all round. It feels like a well made, good quality appliance too when you use it. If I was looking to make a suggestion, I’d say that a slightly wider spout would be helpful for those with less than slimline taps (Did I say that I wanted to change my kitchen?).
Toaster
If any thing the toaster is even better looking than the kettle. It’s a very handsome piece of kit. Again it has a robust, solidly constructed feel to it, but it looks great too. Performance has been good. It’s great that you can use the slots in groups of two. Often one batch of toast is started and you want to start another before it has finished, because someone else is demanding to be fed. Frankly we couldn’t fault it in use.
Both toaster and kettle retail for £59.99. As a Morphy Richards’ Innovator though, I am able to offer 92three30 readers a 35% discount off the Colour Boutique, when ordering direct from Morphy Richards. Just enter the code: CB35BLOG at the checkout.

I love the navy blue colour! The toaster and kettle look very stylish.
These certainly look very cool. Would put the rest of my kitchen to shame.

I’ve had my eye on these for ages, in the red colour to match the rest of my kitchen, but unfortunately, there’s always something else needs buying or replacing in this house! Still, I’m not going to stop going on about your discount code now until (hopefully) my other half just gives in!
