We’ve had a lot of fun in the garden this week with the Wicked Mega Bounce. It’s describes as ‘the world’s bounciest, inflatable ball’ and that seems to sum it up really. It comes in box deflated, but there’s a pump to use and it doesn’t take long to get it sorted. This was a big relief for me as the last blow up toy we tried was a bit of a pain as we didn’t have the right pump. With this it’s not an exact science how full to fill it either which is goo. You just pop the pump nozzle cap (this is the white bit attached to the end of the pump tube) onto the end of the pump tube and insert it into the hole in the ball and then pump. It’s a foot pump and easy to use. When it’s full you just put a white plastic plug (provided) in and you are good to go. There are some spare bits in a little bag in the box, but we have yet to use them.
You can also deflate the ball with the foot pump, which is really useful if you are taking it on holiday or something. It’s a very lightweight pump so even taking it on a plane for a holiday would be possible. H has used his Wicked Mega Bounce in any number of ways. He has been kicking it around and then running after it taking shots at it with his super soaker. Obviously it’s been thrown or kicked at me too – just as well it doesn’t hurt. He’s had a lot of fun with it. It’s not an expensive toy and it can be used in a lot of different ways by a wide range of ages. A good one to take to the beach or on a picnic maybe.
