At the weekend we went along to one of H’s favourite places to visit: the National Sea Life Centre, Birmingham. As ever he was fascinated with the fish and every time we visit he discovers some new facts and information about the aquatic animals he encounters. I think this is the first time we have visited at Christmas though and we weren’t quite sure what to expect.
There’s an underwater Christmas tree located in the 360 Ocean Tunnel and we found the Snowman when we were learning about turtles. As well as this, you get to meet Santa and it’s included within the admission ticket. I loved that the queue wasn’t too long – we were there about lunchtime and only waited about 5 minutes. H got to meet Santa and he talked to him about what he wanted for Christmas (a phone apparently). He also received a small free gift and a special Meet Santa pop badge. From 1st December you can also enjoy the smell of chocolate in the 4D cinema which will be showing festive favourite, The Polar Express!
