We are steeling ourselves up to decorate my son’s room. It’s going to be a mammoth task not least because of the industrial quantities of Lego that will need shifting. Add to that the need to replace the window, sort out the electrics and redecorate and it’s quite a job. It’s a big room with a high ceiling and the current, rather nondescript, light is lost up there. It needs something with a bit more umph and something that just isn’t dull and boring because it seems a shame not to capitalise on the height of the room. So I’ve been looking around for lights that might fit the bill. Something that will last H from now into teens or even adulthood, something that looks good, but does a functional job too.
Lighting Majestic have come to the rescue though with their great range of novelty lights. In fact, we have been able to pick one out to put up in H’s room when it’s done. We were really spoilt for choice though and it proved a really difficult decision to make as to which one to pick out for his new pad.
If H had been into motor racing we’d have certainly picked out the fabulous Monaco Racing Car Ceiling Light as I love the level of detailing on it. With wheels and a racing car driver, all the details are there to make this an interesting and stunning light to have hanging from the ceiling.
For us though it was a choice between the Plane Ceiling Light and the Helicopter. They both look really cool, but I think it was the propellers on the helicopter light that really swung it for us. It’s made from satin silver and glass. Ours has now arrived and it’s a great quality of light and it’s going to look stunning in H’s new room when it’s complete.
