It can’t be just me who loves the idea of a photo book (and really glad I’ve done it when it’s finished), more than the work involved to create it. When Imprify got in touch a while back, I thought ‘Yes, I’d love another photo book’, but then I didn’t get around to it because I thought it would be a lot of work. I kept putting it off. Thankfully, Imprify were very patient with me and when I eventually got around to it I found it a whole lot easier and quicker than I’d expected. In fact, I felt a bit daft for not having done it before.
The last photo book I created was of our Caribbean cruise last year, but because Imprify specialises in letting to lift photos off social media, I decided to use shots from our recent Trecco Bay holiday. I’d got loads of photos from that trip on Instagram, so it seemed perfect. So how does it work?
- Download the free Imprify app from the App Store or Google Play
- Open the app and select your pictures – the app will ask you to authorise it to access your Instagram (or other social media account)
- Pay and Order
As all my pictures were on Instagram and were all pretty much together in a block, it was super easy to upload them and literally, within 5 minutes I had set up and ordered my photo book. In the past that process has always been much, much longer.
Within a few days our Imprify photo book arrived. I’m very happy with it. One or two of the photos I uploaded to Instagram after I’d resized them and sometimes the quality suffers a little as a result, but on the upside you have a photo book that’s been created within minutes, so it seems a worthwhile trade-off and I guess if I was planning to do this in the future, I could upload to Instagram with a higher resolution (I didn’t because it was taking so long on my old phone).
