H is very taken with his new Junior Neckwarmer from Buffwear that we were sent to try out. It’s so much cooler than wearing a scarf and it covers all his neck and his mouth. If he’s forgotten his hat it can cover his ears too. It keeps him very snug and as you can see from the James Bond inspired picture it’s a desirable piece of clothing. He likes the funky stripes and bright colours. It’s been to school with him and when he plays with his friends on the way home, it keeps him comfortable until the mums decide that it’s time we got home before it gets dark/we get too cold/ we need to get dinner on.
Now I got a hat as well and I did get H to take some pictures of me in it for this post, but you know I think I prefer this one of H wearing it alongside his neck warmer. Ok ,they weren’t picked out to fit together colourwise, but I love the sense of mischief in his eyes in this picture. My hat is cosy and warm and has kept the cold away during the snow we have just had. It’s a touch big on H, but it fits me nice and snug.
So fast forward a few weeks from our original photo shoot and our back garden is looking very different now. What joins these pictures together is that fact that the Neck Warmer is still the thing he’s wearing to keep himself warm. He often doesn’t bother with a hat, but is wearing the neck warmer most days at the moment.
