Easter has been a tricky one this year as H’s birthday falls over the Easter weekend so it’s all happening all at once. Add to that all the other things going on in my life and it’s no surprise that Easter has been a bit neglected. If you are doing Easter at the last minute like me, you might be in search of some inspiration, so I’ve picked out a few things to share.
For an Easter Egg Hunt take a look at our Cadbury post because they have some great packs for putting together an Easter Egg Hunt with minimal effort. Still on the Cadbury theme, you could try this fab Cracking Creme Egg Macarons from Georgia’s Cakes.
We often find that the long weekend is the perfect time to do a little crafting. Hobbycraft have some fab things including a Faux Grass Bunny that I am trying to think how to use. They have lots of bunny and egg themed items and lots of lovely pastel ribbons and coloured papers to fashion your own Easter creations from.
Easter books don’t have to be religious if you’re not. I love the fun of this We’re Going On A Egg Hunt by Laura Hughes. For tiny tots there’s That’s Not My Chicken from Usborne Books. My niece and nephew love Peppa Pig so an Easter book featuring Peppa would be great for them. Or how about a Mister Men book? Mr Impossible and the Easter Egg Hunt sounds like fun.
A fun gift for children (and adults alike! – I’ve certainly enjoyed the one we were sent to try), this bunny shaped box comes filled with a delicious selection of Guylian Temptations in six flavours (RSP £4.50).
Disclosure: I have been sent some of these items to try and others include affiliate links.
