My daughter aged 4 at the time, was given no food at all and not even allowed to buy snacks. None of us were. By time they brought us food, just before landing, we were completely unable to wake her as she had no energy. In fact we were only given half a cup of water between us to last 7 hours too!

I will now ALWAYS take my own food and drink onto the plane. That was the HELL that is Thomas Cook!

We’ve not bothered going much further afield than Spain, cos I can’t bear the idea of trying to keep 2 tired boys quiet on a long flight which doesn’t get us home til the early hours of the morning. Is it rocket science to think about giving families daytime flights? Not just for us, but for other passengers who end up getting irate cos a little one is over-tired and throwing a tantrum.
