We’ve been trying out all sorts of goodies this month, some very Christmassy and others not so, but it’s a time of year for enjoying nice things and shutting out the cold. At this time of year, it’s good to snuggle up safely at home. On nights when we aren’t doing anything, I take great delight on shutting the door on the world after the school run and hunkering down for the evening. Part of what makes this a joy is having a nice home to come back to and at this time of year it’s especially so because of the Christmas decorations. It doesn’t need to stop at Christmas decorations though. I’m a real fan of Christmassy scents having lovely scented candles dotted around and even picking out cleaning products with festive fragrances. So I was chuffed to receive this lovely Christmas hamper from Febreze featuring their Christmas range. I’m loving the Febreze Apple & Spice range. Having the chance to layer your fragrances is good, so I can use the Set and Refresh product to keep the human loo fresh or perhaps more necessary, keep the cat loo area smelling nice. For a quick blast of freshness, there’s the Air Effects spray and for some atmospheric scenting there’s a gorgeous candle too. Loving it!
There are always a few last-minute gifts to get I find and the last thing you want to do is make a special trip out to get them. A great place to pick up a last-minute present is when you are doing your food shop. ASDA has some great stocking fillers in their nspa range. I’ve been treating myself to the Decadent Caramel Chocolate shower and bath gel, but there are some other gorgeous fragrances to pick out too. For a nice gift set have a peak at The Orange Tree range too. They have scrumptious sounding scents and very attractive packaging, so they are perfect presents.
Cereal bars are great for eating when you are on the go and I always have one or two tucked around the place in my handbag or in the car. The Primal Kitchen is one of my favourite brands of cereal bar and these Coconut and Macadamia bars are lush and tropical. These Leader Barebars were new to me and I got to try the Apple & Cinnamon flavour, which is full of applely goodness and perfect for the time of year.
I’ve recently become a Happy Egg blogger and this time of year seems the perfect time to switch to free range eggs if you haven’t already. Goodwill to all men should extend to all animals I think (with the possible exception of the nasty cats who is terrorizing my pampered felines), so free range eggs seem the done thing for Christmas. We always buy free range anyway and it’s been easier in recent years to get hold of them or buy products made from free range eggs.
